Meet Riley

 Oh my gosh! Hi hi hi!!! This is crazy exciting..being here together.  I totally am making this up as I go and I wish we were sitting together with a giant chocolate cake, but words are life so I'll give you my best!  So, my name is Riley and I am a dreamer.  Anybody?  I thought so..you're a dreamer too..that's what makes us such good friends.  

Oh so many things to say...

I am a mom of two boys..I never thought I would have 2 boys. I always thought I would have 4 and not all boys..but LIFE! Right? Why would life go as planned?  Regardless, this life is one I cherish and celebrate.  One time one of my boys answered a silly mother's day question that said "momming" is my favorite thing to do.  He was so right! Momming is absolutely my very favorite thing.  I love the excuse kids give us to be silly and fun.  I can outfun my kids any day..well most days..and mostly only when I'm not stressed or busy..

I LOVE to celebrate!  Like, I reeeeeally love to celebrate. I think we should party over every little thing and make all things fun!  

My husband...oh, I'm married...and not like, oh, he's last, just oh, this is a good time to tell you about him.  He's dreamy and wonderful. He's just right for me, but for a long time I didn't think so, because LIFE.  Marriage is full of forgiveness and compromise and I've had to learn the beauty in that.  Let's be honest.  He is a dream maker come truer...you get it right?  He is the best listener and laugher and he really does help bring my dreams to life.  

For awhile I only knew about compromise and being "gentle" without really having a voice of my own, but my husband has let me grow a voice and honestly, I think he likes me a lot better now.  We've found a sweet rhythm and it came with lots of growing, but maybe I'll save that story for an actual post.  

You know, I've worked really hard to be perfect for a long time and this space is a bit of my unraveling.  I am thrilled you are here and hope that we can join our hands together to walk in truth and find all the beautiful that life offers. I don't want to miss a thing! Do you??
